Built with the exclusive Penn Leveline™ wrap system, the Penn Slammer 260 spin reel has superb performance and casts are usually long without any effort. It is designed with an oversized HT-100 drag washer to attain that powerful drag system for that strong drag and flawless transitions.
It is made from a special high-strength alum-alloy that provides the housing for the powerful gearing system of the Penn Slammer. The main support shaft for the spool is oversized and triple supported throughout the frame so that alignment and balance would not be compromised under the most intense pressure. Advanced computer modeling allowed further fine-tuning and balancing, and has resulted in the most durable and long-lasting spinning reel on the market.
