Deadly Hapuka Rigs
The Boone Lumo Squid Hapuka Rigs are ideal for catching deep water fish species like Hapuka, Bluenose, Bass or Trumpeter. The lumo squids are made from a life-like ‘glow in the dark’ silicone, making this rig particularly appealing for any big fish swimming past. Add a slice of fresh bait (like bonito or mackerel) and this rig will prove to be irresistible as you start hooking into some of the best fish the sea has to offer. The rigs are made with heavy duty crimps and swivels, with 300lb backbone and 200lb trace. They feature chemically sharpened Mustad circle hooks designed to hook into the jaw of large deep species.
