The Shimano Nexave Soft Bait Combo is rod and reel combo that is a complete attraction. This is a combination of a superb all-round reel, sharp and lightweight rod, and a high performance braided line, that will totally blow you away!
The Reel
With its distinctive blue colour scheme, the Shimano Nexave 4000FC is certainly a reel that will get noticed when out fishing. It features a superb multi-disc front drag, which is perfect for a wide range of lure and freshwater fishing situations. The Nexave FC also has an aluminium spool combined with AR-C line management and Varispeed line lay for great casting accuracy and performance. Contained within the lightweight XT7 body are three stainless steel ball bearings and a roller bearing. All of these features combine to produce a super smooth powerful performance not usually found on reels at such an affordable price.
The Rod
The Shimano Catana Soft Bait Rod 6-8kg 7ft 3in is every bit as sharp as the swords it’s named after. This rod features graphite blanks, Fuji guides and graphite reel seats, with cork grips and hard-wearing EVA on the bigger outfits. Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced angler, this rod perfect for you!
The Line
The Sufix Performance Fuse Braid is a rounder thermally fused braided line with enhanced smoothness and superior casting. This braid has virtually zero stretch, superior tensile and knot strength with an ultra-fine diameter because it is made of 100% HMPE Dyneema fibres.
