design improves waterproofing, provides high resolution images and

By using the incredibly rich C-MAP 4D charts, the GP-1971F delivers

Autopilot controls
Via the CAN bus network interface, The NAVpilot-300 and
NAVpilot-711C (sold separately) can be connected to the GP-1971F
and controlled directly from the Chart Plotter.
C-MAP C-Weather
C-Weather data can be downloaded from C-map.com providing Wind,
Wave, Weather, Humidity and Temperature information.

When connected to an AIS receiver, the GP-1971F will display the
latest AIS data and provide vessel information.

Unmatched detail with TruEcho CHIRP
The high level of detail available with TruEcho CHIRP technology
helps to distinguish fish schools, even when close to the sea bed.
Fish can be observed with a very high resolution and are displayed
in a distinct boomerang shape. The clear presentation marks
individual game fish and bait fish, even when tightly schooled
together.
ACCU-FISH and Bottom Discrimination with RezBoost
With FURUNO's RezBoost data processing technology, fish schools and
echoes are shown with high resolution while you can assess fish
size and bottom composition thanks to ACCU-FISH and Bottom
Discrimination functions. Additionally, ACCU-FISH icons and colours
can be freely customised according to the size and depth of the
targeted fish.
Wireless Radar Connection
DRS4W 1st Watch Wireless Radar
The GP-1971F is connectable to the 1st Watch Wireless Radar (Output
Power 4 kW) (sold separately) giving your Chart Plotter a major
upgrade in accuracy and safety.
The Transducer
The transom mount version of the B260, the top-of-the-line
broadband
Airmar TM260 Transom Mount Transducer
brings crystal clear imaging to your fishfinder. The large 200 kHz
element and the seven-element, 50 kHz array are excellent for bait
and game fish separation along with detecting ground fish holding
tight to the bottom. The TM260's rugged mounting bracket is
easy-to-install and has a streamlined shape that delivers
high-speed performance up to 30 knots (35 MPH).
