Big game power from the shore
Built for land-based game fishing, the Okuma Solterra SLX 20L X-Factor Drone Fishing Combo 24kg 8ft 6in 2pc matches a 15kg lever drag reel with the 8ft 6in, 15-24kg X-Factor II. Send baits out with a drone, lock up the drag and get ready for Kingfish and other big pelagics off the rocks. Built to tame the big ones.
The Reel
Upgraded with enhanced power and long-lasting durability, the Okuma Solterra SLX 20L Level Wind Lever Drag Game Reel is built to take on the toughest offshore battles. It features stainless steel main and pinion gears, a corrosion-resistant frame and side plates, and a forged aluminium spool with line indicator rings. The carbonite drag system, paired with Cal's universal drag grease, produces a smooth, reliable drag curve up to 15kg. Whether you're live baiting, deep dropping or trolling for a cheeky tuna between spots, the Solterra SLX 20L has the grunt and precision to get the job done.
The Rod
The Okuma X-Factor II Landbased Game Drone Rod is designed to meet the expectations and demands of the Kiwi angler: tough, durable, with crisp actions and great value for money. It's part of Okuma's most successful and longest-standing rod series to date. This heavy-hitting land-based game rod is a whopping 8ft 6in, making it cast big lures like a dream, and its 15-24kg line weight means you can lock and load on big Kingfish, GTs and more.
