Dominate the deep
When you're squaring off against trophy fish, you need gear that won't blink under pressure. The PENN Fathom II 80 Ocean Assassin II Bent Butt Roller Game Combo is engineered specifically for those who demand raw lifting power and total reliability in the toughest offshore conditions. By pairing the legendary durability of the Fathom II 2-Speed lever drag reel with the crisp, responsive action of the Ocean Assassin II Game Rod, this setup gives you the perfect balance of strength and finesse. The bent-butt configuration offers superior leverage in the rod holder, letting you lean into the fight with confidence while the high-performance PACBAY roller guides ensure your line runs smooth, even under maximum drag.
The Reel
The PENN Fathom II 80 2-Speed Lever Drag Reel is the ultimate workhorse for anglers who demand reliability when battling trophy-sized fish. Engineered with a one-piece aluminium frame and sideplates, this reel provides the exceptional structural rigidity needed to handle the intense pressures of heavy-duty saltwater game fishing. Its compact design feels great in the hand, while the stainless steel main and pinion gears ensure you've got the internal durability to stand up to the most stubborn catch.
When you're out on the water, you need gear that reacts as fast as you do. The Quick-Shift II 2-speed system lets you drop into low gear instantly to winch fish from the depths, while the 22.7kg (maximum) drag, managed by the smooth Dura-Drag system, ensures there's no hesitation during the fight. The Pull-to-Turn preset knob eliminates accidental changes to the drag, allowing you to truly set it, and forget it. Featuring line capacity rings for easy depth awareness and a 5-bearing system for ultra-smooth operation, the PENN Fathom II 80 2-Speed Lever Drag Reel is a must-have for your next big offshore mission. Grab yours today!
