The ultimate topwater weapon for trophy Kingfish and GTs
The Daiwa Saltiga 14000 XH Dogfight Premium Topwater Combo is the heavy-duty setup you need when you're hunting monsters on the surface. We've paired the powerhouse Daiwa Saltiga 14000 XH reel with the precision-engineered Daiwa Dogfight rod to give you a combo that excels in casting distance, lure control, and raw fighting ability. Whether you're targeting hard-charging Kingfish, Tuna, or GTs, this setup is built to handle brutal water conditions without skipping a beat.
The Reel
The Daiwa 25 Saltiga G 14000-XH Spinning Reel is built for anglers targeting large Kingfish, Tuna, and Giant Trevally (GT) in New Zealand waters. Perfect for topwater casting and heavy offshore action, it combines exceptional strength, precision, and durability for battling the toughest gamefish.
The Rod
The Daiwa Saltiga C Dogfight 84-6 Spin Rod is designed for one thing: winning the toughest battles at sea. Born from Iichiro Sato's proven Tuna theory, this rod lives up to its "DOGFIGHT" name, empowering you to go head-to-head with powerful pelagics in a single, dominant fight. Its carefully crafted blank embodies Sato's "bending and catching" style, offering a flexible taper that transitions into immense restoring power, ensuring you stay in control even when a monster goes on a run. Plus, with Daiwa's advanced technology, you'll achieve the extended casting distances crucial for reaching those flighty Tuna. Built for relentless saltwater performance. It's more than a rod; it's your new secret weapon to break those personal bests.
