The Reel
There's arguably no name more famous in the electric dendoh reel category than Tanacom. After half a decade of meticulous research, testing and collaboration between Daiwa Japan engineers and teams within Australia and America, Daiwa introduces the all-new, totally overhauled Daiwa 22 Tanacom 1200 AJ Power Assist Electric Reel.

Unrelenting power
Tanacom 1200 uses the same reliable unit as the Tanacom 1000 but now sports a new design that incorporates the powerful motor inside the spool to enhance performance and efficiency. Installed in the new frame, the motor generates even more power thanks to an improved drivetrain which is expertly reengineered with beefier gears and internal components to improve durability and minimise power loss.

Increased speed
The Daiwa 22 Tanacom 1200 AJ Power Assist Electric Reel's enhanced power is also accompanied by more speed, a feat considered difficult to achieve since a faster retrieve means lower torque. Leave it to the Tanacom 1200 to defy the impossible! The faster retrieve speed comes in super handy when deep dropping, as your ability to reposition or check baits is sped up drastically.

Improved user experience
Set up is also easier than ever thanks to the redesigned menu system which has been simplified and carefully calibrated to offer an easy user experience for first-time users and familiarity for long-time Daiwa dendoh fans. The Dot Monitor LCD screen has also been improved, with a brighter display and better viewing angles when wearing polarised sunglasses.

From small quality-of-life improvements like the aluminium ball knob to hugely functional changes like the increased speed and power, the Tanacom has continually set the benchmark for quality and value for money in the electric reel space. The Daiwa 22 Tanacom 1200 AJ Power Assist Electric Reel is ready to elevate the bar once again. Gear up and dominate the deep.

The Rod
The Daiwa Eliminator II 803 Fuji Overhead Drone Rod combines a lightweight composite graphite blank with an integrated solid tip for a balance of strength and bite sensitivity. Designed for drone fishing, it offers the power to handle hard-fighting fish while maintaining the responsiveness needed to detect bites. Featuring updated Fuji guides for smooth line movement, this rod also features a high-quality graphite reel seat to keep your reel securely in place. Comfortable EVA grips provide a secure hold and added control during fishing.
