The Okuma ITX 4000 Spinning Reel is built for anglers who demand lightweight strength, smooth performance, and durability. Its rigid C-40X long-strand carbon fibre body, side plates, and rotor make it 25% stronger than standard graphite reels—ideal for freshwater missions and light inshore applications.

At the heart of the ITX 4000 is a multi-disc carbon fibre drag system, sealed with Okuma’s Hydro Block Gasket to keep water out and maintain consistent, smooth drag pressure. Inside, the reel is powered by 7 high-performance grease-packed ball bearings + 1 roller bearing, paired with a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear for long-lasting smoothness and reliability. The Quick-Set anti-reverse bearing ensures instant hooksets with no back play.

The ITX is also equipped with Okuma’s Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) design, which enhances airflow to dry the rotor and spool quickly—reducing corrosion and increasing longevity. The two-tone anodised, machined aluminium spool not only looks sharp but also adds to the reel’s strength. With a 6.0:1 high-speed gear ratio and a machined aluminium screw-in handle, this reel delivers quick retrieves and a tight, solid feel—no more loose handles.
