Japanese 8-strand braid for offshore and deep-water fishing
The Varivas Crown PE X8 Braid is a high-performance Japanese-made 8-strand braided fishing line designed for offshore boat fishing, jigging, and deep-water saltwater applications. Constructed from eight tightly woven high-strength polyethylene (PE) carriers, it creates a smooth, round profile that reduces guide friction, improves casting performance, and cuts cleanly through the water.
Featuring Varivas’ SP-F Super Fluororesin surface coating, the braid delivers smooth handling, excellent abrasion resistance, and improved durability by reducing water absorption. Its low-stretch construction provides outstanding sensitivity, allowing anglers to detect subtle bites and achieve faster, more confident hooksets.
The high-visibility 5-colour metred design changes colour every 10 metres, making it easy to track depth and accurately position jigs within the strike zone.
