Comprehensive distress signals in one handy kit
The Pains Wessex Offshore Distress Signal Pack contains an extensive array of flares and smoke signals for both long and short-range visibility, absolutely essential for emergency scenarios. This set includes 4 x Parachute Red rockets, 4 x Pinpoint Red hand flares and 2 x Lifesmoke buoyant orange smoke signals, all in a robust, waterproof flare polybottle. All these components conform to SOLAS/Ship Wheel regulations and standards.
Para Red Rocket
The Pains Wessex Para Red Rocket produces and ejects a bright red flare that follows a parachute motion at 300m and burns for approximately 40 seconds at 30,000 candela. The pull-wire ignitor and easy grip make it simple to operate. The Para Red Rocket is also expertly designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, ensuring reliable performance even after submerging in water.
Pinpoint Red Handflare
The Pinpoint Red handflares are ideal for short-range distress signalling. The bright red flare burns for 60 seconds at 15,000 candela, allowing rescuers to pinpoint your location. This is suitable for use day or night. The unique telescopic handle makes them compact and easy to store. These handflares are also pull-wire operated.
Lifesmoke Smoke Signal
The Pains Wessex Lifesmoke Smoke Signal is easy to use and safe to handle, designed to be operated during the daytime. It produces a dense orange smoke that lasts for at least 3 minutes, providing effective location marking.
12-Litre Polybottle
This ruggedly constructed 12-Litre Polybottle is buoyant and easy to handle, suitable for storing your distress signals. The textured lid ensures tight water sealing while being easy to open in an emergency.
