It is recommended to use drainage-lock in deck lead-throughs and in over 2 metres (7') long on exhaust gas tubes ( diameter parts 28 mm).
This is to remove splash water and condensed water. If desired, it is possible to install a drainage lock to the exhaust pipe ( diameter parts 28 mm) of a hull lead-through, but then the drainage lock must come after the goose neck.
