"Just thought I'd let you know how the Transducer worked out.
Finally got to try the new TM258 1KW Transducer out in some serious depth on Thursday 07/10/2010. Worked a treat. Still reading the bottom clearly at 180m and 20mph on 200KHz. Unfortunately couldn’t see much fish but that could be because there wasn’t much there. Couldn’t get a Puka. Managed plenty of Kings and could see these easily enough. Tried the 50KHz on split screen but couldn’t see the fish that were clearly visible on the 200KHz. This didn’t seem right and the sensitivity should have been high enough as there was plenty of background clutter. Looking forward to using it more. Very happy and I'm convinced it was the best way to upgrade. Thanks for your help.
