Made for newcomers to baitcasting
A 5ft 6in two-piece baitcasting outfit, the Jarvis Walker Rampage Shimano Eclipse Baitcaster Combo incl Line 5kg pairs the Jarvis Walker Rampage baitcaster, spooled with line, with the Shimano Eclipse baitcast rod rated to 5kg. Magnetic cast control and a sturdy graphite rod make it a simple way into baitcasting, and easy to learn on.
The Reel
The Jarvis Walker Rampage Baitcaster Reel offers excellent value if you enjoy the precision and control offered by modern baitcast reels. It features a ball bearing drive for smooth reel action, and the magnetic cast control with levels from 0 to 10 lets you dial in your exact setting preference. The levelwind keeps your line lay perfect as you crank, with a 6.2:1 gear ratio that lets you speed things up when needed or wind slow for subtle tactics.
The Rod
The Shimano Eclipse Baitcast Rod is made especially for newcomers to the world of baitcasting. Thanks to its sturdy graphite construction, you can keep fishing without worrying about breaking your rod, and its simple design is easy to use and great value for money. A powerful butt and mid-section absorb the pressures of repeated use, and ergonomic EVA grips fit snugly in your hands. A clear glass tip lets you see your line clearly and prevent tangling, and it's seamlessly integrated with the rest of the blank for added strength, durability and bite sensitivity.
