Take fishing to the next level

The Daiwa Saltiga G 14000-XH Landbased Topwater Combo is the heavy-duty setup you need when you're hunting topwater monsters from the shore. We've paired the powerhouse Daiwa Saltiga G 14000-XH reel with the precision-engineered Daiwa Spartan rod to give you a combo that excels in casting distance, lure control, and raw fighting ability. Whether you're targeting hard-charging Kingfish, Tuna, or GTs, this setup is built to handle brutal water conditions without skipping a beat.

The Reel
The Daiwa 25 Saltiga G 14000-XH Spinning Reel is built for anglers targeting large Kingfish, Tuna, and Giant Trevally (GT) in New Zealand waters. Perfect for topwater casting and heavy offshore action, it combines exceptional strength, precision, and durability for battling the toughest gamefish.

The Rod
The Daiwa Spartan S100-4/6 Landbased Stickbait Rod brings next generation X45 technology delivering a technique-specific action that outcast, outperform and outclass all others.

Next Generation X45 takes everything to the next level, and is 25% more efficient than standard X45 technology, significantly reducing blank twist and distortion. With increased torsional stiffness, Spartan is able to resist blank twist during casting and jigging. This characteristic prevents the blank from losing stored energy during the cast, ensuring that every bit of force you put into your cast, is transferred through the blank and ultimately to your chosen lure, resulting in visibly longer casts and more responsive feedback.

The Spartan rod features HVF Nanoplus graphite blank, 3DX carbon to increase lifting power and V-Joint to increase joint strength. Equipped with Fuji stainless steel SiC guides and Fuji reel seats.
