Small baitcaster, heavy-duty attitude
A tidy light jigging outfit, the Daiwa Saltist X 150 Demon Blood Acid Wrap Slow Jig Combo 6ft 20-30lb teams the aluminium-framed Saltist X 150 baitcaster with the 6ft, 1-piece Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Acid Wrap B60-2 overhead rod rated PE2 for jigs of 50-150g. At 195g with an extra-long EVA power handle, the reel keeps the whole outfit balanced and easy to work all day. A heavy-duty baitcaster in true Daiwa style.
The Reel
The Daiwa Saltist X 150 Baitcaster Reel is built for anglers after a small sized baitcaster that suits the harsh saltwater environment. It has a solid aluminium frame and gear side-plate along with Daiwa's advanced Digigear II gear design and the Air Rotation system. The UTD drag system generates heavy drag pressure while keeping line release silky smooth, and the extra-long power handle with EVA knob provides cranking power, balance and control. Ideal for light jigging applications.
The Rod
The Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Acid Wrap OH Slow Jig Rod is crafted around a 24-ton solid carbon blank wrapped with 30-ton graphite cloth, reinforcing the blank and creating the action you want for slow jigging. The solid blank is responsive and rebounds quickly to get maximum action out of slow fall style jigs, so your jig performs exactly as intended. The acid wrap guide layout keeps the blank tracking true under load, premium Fuji components handle the rest, and the parabolic bend keeps you comfortable even on heavy drag. This B60-2 model is rated PE 2 for jigs of 50-150g.
