Depth on the display, 10kg on the drag
A technical slow jigging outfit, the Daiwa Tierra 300H Demon Blood Acid Wrap Slow Jig Combo 6ft 40-50lb matches the IC counter-equipped Tierra LJ IC 300H with the 6ft, 1-piece Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Acid Wrap B60-4 overhead rod rated PE4 for jigs of 120-280g. The 300H holds 440yds of 20lb braid for deeper drops, and the counter keeps you back on the strike zone every time. Precise control when you are battling large fish.
The Reel
The Daiwa 23 Tierra LJ IC 300H Deluxe Slow Jigging Reel is a high-performance jigging reel built for serious anglers. With 10kg of maximum drag - the strongest in its class - it has the hoisting power for heavy jigs. The built-in IC counter, ATD, Electronic Drag Sound and Synchro Level-Wind give you effortless control and precise line tracking, while Daiwa's Hyperdrive Design and full-metal Hyper-Armed housing keep it smooth and durable season after season. The electronic drag sound removes the mechanical click, so the drag keeps its full 10kg of power with less line wear.
The Rod
The Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Acid Wrap OH Slow Jig Rod is crafted around a 24-ton solid carbon blank wrapped with 30-ton graphite cloth, reinforcing the blank and creating the action you want for slow jigging. The solid blank is responsive and rebounds quickly to get maximum action out of slow fall style jigs, so your jig performs exactly as intended. The acid wrap guide layout keeps the blank tracking true under load, premium Fuji components handle the rest, and the parabolic bend keeps you comfortable even on heavy drag. This B60-4 model is rated PE 4 for jigs of 120-280g.
