Slow jigging precision, fully sealed
For fishos who work a jig slow and methodically, the Penn Authority 3500 IPX8 Demon Blood Boat / Slow Jigging Combo 6ft 30lb matches the IPX8 sealed Authority 3500 with the 6ft, 1-piece Daiwa Demon Blood Solid S60-2 slow jig rod rated PE2 for jigs of 50-150g. Light in the hand, 13.6kg of Dura-Drag in reserve, and a solid carbon blank that tells you exactly what your jig is doing. Slow, methodical and precise.
The Reel
The PENN Authority 3500 IPX8 Spinning Reel sets a new standard for hardcore saltwater spinning - a refined premium reel that delivers smooth, powerful performance for the angler who demands a high-end reel in the toughest situations. The IPX8 sealed body and spool take long runs in heavy seas in their stride, ultra-durable CNC machined stainless steel main and pinion gears carry the load, and patented Dura-Drag eliminates hesitation even at extreme settings. A 12+1 premium stainless steel bearing system combines with Leveline slow oscillation for enduring smoothness behind all that trademark PENN power.
The Rod
The Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Spinning Slow Jig Rod is crafted around a 24-ton solid carbon blank wrapped with 30-ton graphite cloth, reinforcing the blank and creating the action you want for slow jigging. The solid blank is responsive and rebounds quickly to get maximum action out of slow fall style jigs, so your jig does exactly what you intend it to down there. Premium Fuji components back it up and the parabolic bend keeps you comfortable and in control even under heavy drag. This S60-2 model is rated PE 2 with a 50-150g lure range.
