More line for the long runs
The bigger brother of the 5000, the Penn Battle 6000 IV Battalion Solid Boat / Jigging Combo 6ft PE5 70lb 2pc teams the Battle IV 6000 - holding 490yds of 30lb braid - with the 6ft, 2-piece PENN Battalion Solid spin jig rod rated PE3-5. Extra capacity and a 104cm retrieve make it the pick when fish are running hard and deep. Plenty of grunt for the money.
The Reel
The PENN Battle IV 6000 Spinning Reel is stronger and more durable than ever. It features PENN's Hydro Armor sealing system to protect critical components no matter how harsh the conditions, combining CNC Gear Technology, a proven HT-100 carbon fibre drag system and a full metal body to deliver a reel built to withstand the force of big fish.
The Rod
The PENN Battalion Solid Spin Jig Rod is designed to give you perfect control over your jig so you can tame the toughest species. Solid Spiral Armour technology creates a solid carbon blank that is 100% stronger than conventional carbon blanks while keeping a thin diameter for great sensitivity, so you feel the smallest bites. Fuji Alconite guides keep it light and ergonomic high density EVA grips stay comfortable through long fights. This PE3-5 medium heavy model handles jigs to 300g.
