A 7ft two-piece baitcasting outfit, the Okuma Ceymar 100HAJ Shimano Catana Soft Bait / Micro Jig Combo 8kg 7ft 2pce pairs the Okuma Ceymar 100HAJ, pre-spooled with 15lb multi-coloured braid, with the Shimano Catana casting rod rated 4-8kg. A fast 7.2:1 retrieve and a light, sharp rod make it a lively, ready-to-go outfit for Snapper.
The Reel
Meet the Okuma Ceymar 100HAJ Baitcaster Reel, the latest evolution of the popular Ceymar series, now refined for even more power and convenience. Built with a corrosion-resistant graphite frame and side plates, and a durable A6061-T6 machined aluminium spool, it's designed for smooth performance and long-lasting reliability. It's equipped with a multi-disc composite drag system and a quick-access side plate port for fast spool changes and easy adjustments, while the EVA power handle offers excellent grip and leverage, giving you full control when targeting Snapper and other tasty table fish with slow jigging techniques. The fully sealed, 100% waterproof magnetic cast control system reduces backlash and increases casting accuracy and distance. It comes pre-spooled with 15lb multi-coloured braid, ready to fish straight out of the box.
The Rod
The Shimano Catana Casting Rod is every bit as sharp as the Japanese sword it's named after. It's constructed from tough graphite blanks, a full length EVA butt assembly, Hardloy guides and graphite reel seats, allowing you to use all of its strength and power for longer casts and fighting big fish. Whether you're spinning for Trout or flicking soft plastic lures for Snapper, this rod suits your fishing requirements.
