Packs down for the canal or the backcountry
Built for the travelling trout fisho, the Okuma Inspira ISX20R Legalis Travel Trout Canal Spin Combo 7ft 4kg 4pc teams the featherweight Inspira Red 20 with a 4-piece, 7ft Daiwa Legalis rated 2-4kg. Throw it in the pack for a remote river, or keep it in the car for a quick session on the canals. Light, crisp and ready whenever you are.
The Reel
The Okuma Inspira Red 20 Spinning Reel combines cutting-edge technology with proven Okuma performance to create a reel that's lightweight, responsive and ultra-reliable. Precision Elliptical Gearing, a machine-cut brass pinion gear, 8 stainless steel ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing, and a braid-ready machined aluminium spool with Hydro-Block sealed drag are all built into a C-40X carbon frame with Torsion Control Armour that reduces flex and keeps the gears aligned. Designed for finesse applications, it's ideal for light soft baiting and spinning lures for trout and salmon in rivers and canals, as well as saltwater micro baiting or targeting squid from the shore.
The Rod
The Daiwa Legalis Freshwater Travel Spinning Rod brings high-end blank innovation together with value-driven componentry to offer a light tackle rod that punches well above its weight. Highly responsive, its crisp action is achieved through lightweight graphite combined with Braiding X, which increases wall strength and reduces blank twist so a thinner, lighter and more dynamic blank can be made. Quality Fuji stainless steel Concept O guides provide reliable casting and line management, a Daiwa Surround Hold reel seat maximises balance and sensitivity, and high-density EVA split grips bring in-hand comfort and control.
