The Kilwell Stiff 3K Carbon Telescopic Drop-In Outrigger Poles and Slimline Bases Set provides a complete drop-in outrigger solution for game fishing. The set includes a pair of lightweight 4.5m telescopic 3K carbon drop-in outrigger poles and a pair of Kilwell Slimline stainless steel outrigger bases, designed to work together for secure and reliable deployment. The telescopic poles extend for trolling and retract for easier handling and storage, while the Slimline bases feature a locking pivot arm to hold the outriggers securely in the deployed position. Cord rigging, release clips, and bungy cords are sold separately.
The Outrigger Poles
The Kilwell Stiff 3K Carbon Telescopic Drop-In Outrigger Poles combine lightweight Superlite 3K carbon construction with a telescopic design for reliable trolling performance. Extending to 4.5m and retracting to 2.75m for easier handling and storage, each pole weighs approximately 1.5kg, making them significantly lighter than Kilwell's standard telescopic outriggers. Designed to fit compatible 40.8mm ID outrigger bases, the poles feature dual eyebolts for versatile rigging and are teaser collar ready.
The Outrigger Bases
The Kilwell Slimline Outrigger Bases are made from heavy-duty stainless steel for reliable trolling performance. A slimline tapered main tube with concealed mounting bolts provides a clean, streamlined appearance, while the locking pivot arm securely holds the outriggers in the deployed position. Supplied as a port and starboard pair, the bases include upright clamps for securing the outriggers while motoring, stainless steel mounting bolts, and protective gaskets for installation on aluminium boats.
