Stealthy looks, serious performance
Stealthy and strong, the Penn Conflict 4000 Gold Regiment Black Ops Softbait Combo 7ft 6in 10kg 2pc pairs the Conflict 4000 Gold with PENN's 7ft 6in, 6-10kg Regiment Black Ops II. It's light enough to cast plastics all day, with the backbone to bully a big Snapper away from structure. A premium inshore outfit.
The Reel
The PENN Conflict 4000 Spinning Reel features stealthy cosmetics, a lightweight design and silky smooth HT-100 drag - just a few of the many reasons so many anglers fish this reel. The metal body and side plate maintain precise gear alignment under severe punishment, and the Techno-Balanced rotor ensures a smooth retrieve with complete balance. With the Superline Spool no backing is needed, thanks to a rubber gasket that keeps braid from slipping. A robust reel that's designed to perform and engineered to last.
The Rod
The new PENN Regiment Black Ops II Medium Spinning Rod features technique-specific action, improved taper and a slick paint job. Ideal for soft baiting or jigging, it's built on PENN's SLS Construction graphite blank to deliver the sensitivity required for technical inshore fishing along with serious pulling power. Proven Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts feature a tapered frame to decrease wind knots and braid wrap, and a lightweight Fuji graphite reel seat provides superior sensitivity and strength.
