The extra length gives you cast and leverage off the rocks, and the Live Liner system lets a bait run freely until the fish commits. Ready for whatever turns up.
The Reel
The PENN Fierce III 4000LL Live Liner Spinning Reel features a full metal body and sideplate along with PENN HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers, so it can handle anything inshore or nearshore. A 4+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearing system ensures smooth retrieves, while the heavy-duty aluminium bail wire and superline spool allow easy line management. The innovative Live Liner drag system is adjustable and automatically disengages with a turn of the handle, making it ideal for bait fishing.
The Rod
The new PENN Regiment Black Ops II Medium Heavy Land-Based Spinning Rod features technique-specific action, improved taper and a slick paint job. Built on PENN's SLS Construction graphite blank, it delivers the sensitivity required for technical inshore fishing along with serious pulling power. Proven Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts feature a tapered frame to decrease wind knots and braid wrap, and a lightweight Fuji graphite reel seat provides superior sensitivity and strength.
