A classic overhead boat setup
Ideal for dropper and flasher rigs, the Penn Jigmaster 500L Rampage Boat Combo 6ft 15kg puts the trusted Jigmaster 500L-CP star drag on Jarvis Walker's 6ft, 10-15kg Rampage overhead boat rod. The forgiving fibreglass blank makes it easy to use, whether you're new to overheads or an old hand. A true workhorse for table fish.
The Reel
Looking for a well-rounded, reliable boat reel? The PENN Jigmaster 500L-CP Star Drag Boat Reel is the ideal reel for targeting Snapper, Trevally, Gurnard, Kahawai and other delicious table fish. Its quick take-apart frame lets you change spools (and line classes) while on the water - super handy when the fish become line and leader shy and you need to scale down. Plus, it's built tough for saltwater use and holds plenty of line, perfectly suited to boat fishing.
The Rod
A clever choice for everyday fishing, the Jarvis Walker Rampage 601OHMH Boat Rod features a quality reel seat, line-friendly guides, a durable EVA grip and an eye-catching metallic red blank finish. The blank is constructed from lightweight tubular fibreglass that is tough, easy to cast and very forgiving when fighting fish.
