Smooth, light and sensitive softbait combo
Light in the hand and smooth on the drag, the Penn Passion 3000 Veritas Tournament Ladies Soft Bait Combo 4-8kg 7ft 6in brings together the PENN Passion 3000 and Abu Garcia's Veritas Tournament 762M. The 7ft 6in, 4-8kg Powerlux blank gives a long cast and a sensitive tip for working soft plastics, while the full metal reel keeps everything running sweetly. Level up your softbaiting game.
The Reel
The PENN Passion 3000 Ladies Softbait Spinning Reel features a full metal body for strength combined with an RR30 rotor to reduce weight. A 5+1 stainless steel bearing system and PENN's proven HT-100 drag provide smooth operation during the cast, the retrieve and while fighting fish. Plus, the Superline Spool eliminates the need for backing thanks to a rubber gasket that keeps braid from slipping.
The Rod
Offering increased strength and improved weight and sensitivity, the new Abu Garcia Veritas Tournament VRTT-S 762M Spinning Rod pushes the limits of high-performance fishing rods. Built on a Powerlux 100 blank - nano-resin technology that reinforces the carbon fibre without adding weight - it's 5% lighter and 15% stronger than standard Veritas rods. Custom-designed reel seats add sensitivity and ergonomics, Fuji stainless steel KR frame guides with Alconite inserts make for easy line management, and high density EVA grips offer weather and wear resistance for many seasons. A matte blank finish and minimalist gloss bindings give it a slick look on the water.
