The CruzPro SBS30 second battery switch/charger connects your second or backup battery to your primary battery whenever the primary battery is charging (controlled by battery voltage).
The SBS-30 will make sure that your windlass battery or dedicated instrument or radio battery is charged when power is available and automatically disconnected when main battery is under load.
When using solar panels the SBS-30 will charge both the primary and secondary when the sun is shining and automatically disconnect the second battery at night.
When used with your windlass battery, the SBS-30 will switch your primary battery into the circuit so that the windlass battery does not have to do all the work.
The operation is completely automatic. Solid State operation using 4 FET power transistors for extreme low resistance with no voltage drop.
Completely silent operation. No relay noises to keep you awake.
The SBS-30 has a LED that blinks to tell you what it is doing.
Work with either 12V or 24V systems (can not be mixed). Switch up to 30 amps.
