The innovative idea of using ceramics as a fishing guide started some 40 years ago with the introduction of Aluminium Oxide, also known as the Hard Ring guide. With this new material, Fuji started a revolution in guide development that has been a mainstay for rod builders and fisherman over all these years. All Aluminum Oxide rings are diamond polished to an ultra-smooth finish.

How to Measure Rod Guides:
The Height (H) is measured from the base to the top.
The Diameter (D) is the size of the outside of the ceramic liner, not the frame.
On Tip Guides, the Tube Bore (TB) is the internal diameter of the tube.
This should be just a fraction bigger than the outside diameter of the rod blank to allow for some glue.
