A marine-grade D-shackle with a captive pin
The NU-D Stainless Steel D-Shackle is a 12mm D-shackle made from AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel with a black matte finish. The captive pin can be tightened and loosened without tools, while the black finish is achieved using coating technology rather than traditional paint or powder coating.
The hard-wearing coating is designed to resist chipping, peeling and fading under friction and heavy use while retaining the corrosion resistance of the 316 stainless steel underneath. The shackle has a maximum towing mass (MTM) of 3000kg and complies with NZS 5467:1993.
