A tough PENN softbait outfit
Step up your softbaiting with the Penn Battle 4000 Regiment Black Ops Softbait Combo 7ft 6in 10kg 2pc. The full metal Battle II 4000 sits on a 7ft 6in, 6-10kg Regiment Black Ops II for long casts, crisp jig work and plenty of pulling power. Tough, solid and reliable.
The Reel
The PENN Battle II 4000 Spinning Reel offers attractive cosmetics, a durable design and silky smooth HT-100 drag - just a few of the many reasons so many anglers fish this reel. Its Full Metal Body construction maintains precise gear alignment under severe punishment, and the Superline Spool means no backing is needed thanks to a rubber gasket that keeps braid from slipping. With its smooth drag, robust construction and clean finish, it will meet the demands of any weekend warrior.
The Rod
The new PENN Regiment Black Ops II Medium Spinning Rod features technique-specific action, improved taper and a slick paint job. Ideal for soft baiting or jigging, it's built on PENN's SLS Construction graphite blank to deliver the sensitivity required for technical inshore fishing along with serious pulling power. Proven Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts feature a tapered frame to decrease wind knots and braid wrap, and a lightweight Fuji graphite reel seat provides superior sensitivity and strength.
