Compact travel rod, easy-handling reel
The 26 Crossfire LT 5000-C / Legalis II 108THFS-NZ pairs the Crossfire LT 5000-C with a 10ft 8in Legalis II telescopic travel rod rated 6-10kg. The rod collapses down for transport, so this shore-based set is easy to take on the road, and the reel keeps things light on the retrieve.
The Reel
The Daiwa Crossfire LT 5000-C Spinning Reel is a lightweight and durable spinning reel built around the LT (Light and Tough) concept, with a compact design that's easy to handle. A smooth-running AIRDRIVE Rotor reduces effort when winding, while the LC-ABS spool improves casting distance and line control. Tough Digigear (zinc) provides dependable power and smooth performance, and the ATD Type-L drag offers steady, controlled pressure when fighting fish.
The Rod
The new Daiwa Legalis II Telescopic Travel Shore Based Rod delivers high-end innovation and performance right into your hands. Perfect for targeting a wide range of New Zealand's inshore species like Snapper, Kahawai and even smaller Kingfish, it's built to stand up to any challenge. The secret behind its crisp action and responsiveness lies in a lightweight graphite blank, supercharged with Daiwa's Braiding X technology.
