Rigged, spooled and ready for the young fisho
The Okuma Revenger 30 Shimano Kidstix Green Spinning Combo incl Line 6ft 2pc matches the pre-spooled Revenger 30 with the 6ft, 2-piece Shimano Kidstix green rod rated 2-5kg. Because the reel already has line on it, there is nothing to sort out before the first cast off the wharf. Gone are the days of dad being the only fisho in the house.
The Reel
The Okuma Revenger 30 Spinning Reel is an upgraded version of one of NZ's most popular reels, the Zeta, with an improved anti-reverse system and a non-corrosive body for years of service. It runs a multi-disc oiled felt drag, a machined aluminium anodised spool, a corrosion-resistant graphite body and stainless steel bail wire, and Okuma's RESII computer balanced rotor keeps it turning smoothly. Best of all it comes pre-spooled with line, so it's feature-packed and ready to fish without the premium price tag.
The Rod
The junior anglers of today are the grown-up anglers of tomorrow, so the Shimano Kidstix Green Spinning Rod is the perfect way to kick-start your child's fishing career. It's a rod that will catch them fish, but more importantly it's designed specifically to handle the rigours and bumps kids regularly subject it to, with a tough fibreglass blank, ceramic guides, a graphite reel seat and EVA grips. Fishing has become a family pastime, so make sure the kids have a rod of their own.
