Purpose-built for the fanatic surfcaster, the Penn Surfblaster 7000 III Long Cast Prevail APEX Braid Surf Combo 14ft 6in 10-25kg 3pc runs the Surfblaster III 7000 Longcast on the 14ft 6in, 3-piece PENN Prevail APEX rated 10-25kg for casts of 30-150g. The reel's conical shallow spool and extra slow oscillation are made for braid, and it ships with a deep spool as well so you can swap to mono whenever you like. Swap the spool and you can switch between braid and mono whenever it suits.
The Reel
The PENN Surfblaster III 7000 Longcast Spinning Reel is specially designed for fanatic surfcasting anglers and equipped with the features to keep it durable and strong. A forged and machined aluminium conical-shaped shallow spool combined with the extra slow oscillation system will let you cast farther than ever before, and the 6 sealed stainless steel ball bearings, including an instant anti-reverse bearing, keep the retrieve perfectly smooth even under pressure. It comes with both a shallow and a deep spool, making it easy to switch between braid and mono.

Ready for battle, the Prevail name has become synonymous with the go-to rod series for serious rock and beach anglers, and the PENN Prevail APEX Spinning Surf Rod sets a new bar as the most premium surf rod in PENN's range.
