The low-profile, CHIRP-ready Airmar SS175C 1kW Low CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer provides good display resolution. Its low-frequency band, operating between 40 and 60 kHz, is a deep-water performer, giving excellent coverage and tracking. It delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation.
The Airmar SS175C 1kW Low CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer has the ceramic element fixed at a 20° angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the 16 to 24° hull deadrise angle, orienting the beam directly down. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more accurate depth readings.
