Technical fly line for nymphing and dry flies
The Vision Nymphmaniac Floating Fly Line is designed for technical fishing with both nymphs and dry flies. Its 8m light and thin front taper, combined with a 6m Nymphing Zone, helps prevent the line from sagging like a traditional fly line when nymphing. This allows you to maintain good contact with the flies, achieve a controlled drift and detect strikes more effectively.
There is enough weight in the rear part of the head to cast the line like a traditional WF line, making it easy to switch to dry fly fishing when needed. The long and thin front taper also supports a soft presentation with dry flies. The line is best suited to light and technical dry fly fishing, such as with CDC flies, rather than large, heavily dressed dry flies.
Extra-small loops on both ends make it easy to attach the line to your backing and leader.
