The Quick Tumbler Capstan with Deck Switch and Circuit Breaker Kit is a powerful, traditional capstan with a horizontal mounted motor below the deck. It offers exceptional pulling power for its size and you can see the quality built into every unit in its flawless, gleaming finish. The Capstan 500w is equipped with IP67 watertight motor and anodised aluminium gearbox. The drum and base are composed of AISI 316 stainless steel. This kit comes complete with deck switch and 40amp circuit breaker.

Note: In NZ we don’t use the contactor unit – because the capstan is used to rotate one way only - so the install only calls for a deck to interrupt the negative power to the winch. Using the contactor will only cause it to be an expensive install and the down switch will never be used. 500w divided by 12v =41 amps.
