Ultra light, ultra sensitive
The Shimano Vanford C2000 HG A Stream Flight XT Light Spin Combo is the perfect partner for freshwater fishos who refuse to compromise on sensitivity or casting accuracy. By pairing the featherlight, CI4+ constructed Vanford reel with the crisp, responsive 30/40T carbon blank of the Stream Flight XT, you get a setup that makes every cast feel effortless. Whether you're targeting Trout in high-country streams or finessing light inshore species, this combo gives you the backbone you need to stay in control without adding unnecessary weight.
The Reel
The Shimano 24 Vanford C2000 HG A Spinning Reel pushes the future of finesse fishing forward. Enhanced with the Ci4+ material for unmatched strength and lightness, and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies like Duracross, Anti Twist Fin and Infinityxross, the Vanford FA series promises superior performance for anglers of all levels.
The Rod
Representing the pinnacle of the Stream Flight family, the Shimano Stream Flight XT Light Freshwater Spin Rod is developed for freshwater fishos seeking the ultimate in lightweight performance, sensitivity and casting precision. Combining advanced carbon technologies with premium components, the Stream Flight XT is engineered to maximise lure control and fish-fighting performance across both freshwater and light inshore applications.
At the core is a high-performance 30/40T carbon blend blank, reinforced with Shimano's Diaflash butt construction to reduce blank twist under load while enhancing lifting power and casting accuracy. The result is a rod that is exceptionally light, crisp and responsive without compromising strength. Premium SeaGuide titanium guides fitted with iridescent Zirconia inserts minimise weight while delivering outstanding durability and smooth line flow for both braid and monofilament. Completing the package are premium carbon fibre grips with an integrated carbon reel seat, providing a lightweight, ergonomic connection that maximises comfort and sensitivity.
Designed for anglers who demand the highest level of performance, the Shimano Stream Flight XT Light Freshwater Spin Rod combines cutting-edge blank technology, premium components and refined craftsmanship to deliver a truly exceptional fishing experience.
