Power and precision for offshore spin jigging
The Shimano Stella SW 8000 PG Ocea Jigger Natural Jerk S64-3 Spin Combo pairs the Stella SW 8000 PG spinning reel with the 6ft 4in Ocea Jigger Natural Jerk S64-3 rod and 400m of Ocea 8 multicolour PE4 jigging braid. Designed for offshore spin jigging, the combo combines a powerful reel with a responsive, low-elasticity rod suited to working jigs weighing 90-200g.
The Reel
The Shimano Stella SW 8000 PG Spinning Reel features a HAGANE Body and Gear, InfinityXross and XX Tough Drag for strength and controlled power under load. InfinityLoop supports line lay and casting performance, while AntiTwistFin helps manage line around the spool. X-Protect and X-Shield provide water resistance for saltwater use, and SilentDrive supports smooth, quiet winding.
The Rod
The Shimano Ocea Jigger Natural Jerk S64-3 Spinning Rod is designed for controlled jigging, with an action suited to smooth jig movements and lighter jigging actions. Spiral X Core construction combines light weight with strength, while Hi-Power X technology enhances blank strength, twist resistance and rod control. The V-hold front grip supports a firm hold during fishing, and the full holding seat and titanium-frame SiC-ring guides complete the rod.
The Line
The Shimano Ocea 8 Jigging Braid Multicolour is a Japanese-made eight-strand braid featuring Tough Cross construction for a tight, stable weave. Its multicolour pattern changes every 10m, helping anglers track line depth during jigging. This combo includes a 400m spool of PE4 braid rated at 73lb.
