Lightweight power for all-day boat fishing
Built for the fisho who likes to keep moving, the Shimano Genpu 150 XT Fuel Baitcaster Combo 6ft 20lb matches the compact Genpu XT 150 baitcaster with the 6ft, 1-piece Okuma Fuel 601 overhead rod. It is a natural fit for slider, jig and Lucanus-style lure work out of a kayak or small boat, with a 10-20lb rod rating to suit. Lightweight yet durable, and designed for all-day fishing.
The Reel
The Shimano Genpu XT 150 Baitcaster Reel was developed to take on a wide variety of boat fishing applications. This powerful baitcaster is lightweight yet durable, with a super free spool, S-ARB bearings and a 55mm long crank handle with a large EVA knob for cranking comfort. Great for fishing Engetsu Sliders, Wonderfall Jigs, BottomShip and Lucanus lures.
The Rod
The Okuma Fuel Spin 601 Overhead Rod is a solid all-rounder built for versatility and control, and it handles both saltwater and freshwater work. Its responsive 24-ton carbon blank is strong yet sensitive, so you feel the bites and stay in control through the fight. The compact 6ft design is ideal for kayak fishos or anyone working out of a small boat, making fish easier to manoeuvre and land in close quarters. Stainless steel SIC guides, polished titanium oxide inserts and a contoured split EVA rear grip keep it light and comfortable all day.
