A hard-working overhead boat outfit
Simple and dependable, the Shimano TR200G Eliminator Boat Combo 7ft 10kg 2pc pairs Shimano's corrosion-proof TR200G levelwind with Daiwa's 7ft, 2-piece Eliminator 702HB rated 10kg. The levelwind lays line evenly, making it easy to use on the boat for Snapper, Gurnard and Kahawai. A long-time favourite for good reason.
The Reel
The Shimano TR200G Levelwind Star Drag Reel is one of Shimano's hardest working reels. This corrosion-proof XT7 body, star drag reel has been a solid performer in the offshore fishing scene for many years. However, it has been given a new lease of life in recent times with the advent of braided lines, as it makes an excellent braid reel for inshore fishing. Even those with very little fishing experience can fish with confidence with the Shimano TR200G Levelwind Star Drag Reel. It's a perfect reel for various applications such as trolling, bait fishing over reefs, casting a lure and jig fishing. Anti-Rust Bearings are made of stainless steel that has gone through the A-RB process. These bearings are at least 10 times more corrosion-resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings. Easy maintenance no-shield design allows for easy flushing of debris and easy lubrication.
The Rod
Surprisingly light in weight yet offer rugged durability, The new Daiwa Eliminator 702HB Overhead Boat Rod features a composite graphite blank for light weight and power, and an integrated solid tip for durability and sensitivity. Complimenting this great design are aluminium oxide guides that deliver superb tangle free performance and dissipate heat efficiently eliminating line wear, and a high-quality graphite seat to securely attach your reel. For comfort and durability, the Eliminator also features flat top EVA grips, while the composite cork butt and attractive metal spacers bring style to the classy black and blue colour scheme. Simply match any Eliminator rod to a Daiwa reel and you will have a durable and reliable outfit, that you can depend upon time and time again.
