The Shimano Tranx 200A-HG Dialuna Inshore Medium Baitcasting Combo combines the Shimano Tranx 200A-HG baitcast reel with a 6ft 10in two-piece Dialuna Inshore Medium Baitcasting Rod rated for 8-38g lures and PE 1-3 line. The Tranx 200A-HG features a 7.2:1 gear ratio, 5.9kg maximum drag and 76cm retrieve per crank, while the Dialuna rod combines Spiral X and Hi-Power X construction for a responsive feel and torsional rigidity.
The two-piece rod features a Carbon Monocoque rear grip and CI4+ reel seat, making the combo suited to a range of inshore lure fishing applications.
The Reel
The Shimano Tranx 200A-HG Baitcast Reel features a HAGANE Body, High Efficiency Gearing (HEG) and X-Ship for rigidity, smooth operation and efficient power transmission. CoreProtect provides saltwater protection, while S3D Spool, Super Free Spool and SVS Infinity support smooth spool operation and controlled casting.
The 7.2:1 gear ratio and 76cm retrieve per crank provide a fast retrieve for working inshore lures and managing line during casting.
The Rod
The Shimano Dialuna Inshore Medium Baitcasting Rod features Spiral X and Hi-Power X construction for a responsive feel, increased torsional rigidity and sharp lure control. The Carbon Monocoque rear grip reduces unnecessary weight while transmitting vibration to the angler's hand, while the CI4+ reel seat completes the lightweight setup.
The 6ft 10in two-piece rod is rated for 8-38g lures and PE 1-3 line, making it suited to a range of inshore lure applications.
