The Shimano FX 4000 Eliminator Spinning Combo 6ft 6in 2pc 8kg pairs the pre-spooled FX 4000 FC with Daiwa's Eliminator 662MS. A 6ft 6in, 2-piece medium action rod rated 4-8kg, built on a composite graphite blank with an integrated solid tip. A durable and reliable outfit you can depend upon, time and time again.
The Reel
Perfect for both freshwater and saltwater applications, the Shimano FX 4000 FC Spinning Reel is redesigned with versatility and more performance in mind. The FX FC features a roller clutch, increased bearings for smoothness and Shimano's Propulsion Line Management System - a new spool lip design proven to deliver longer casts while preventing backlashes and wind knots from forming. It comes supplied pre-spooled with line, so this front drag reel is a great choice if you want to try fishing for the first time.
The Rod
Surprisingly light in weight yet offering rugged durability, the Daiwa Eliminator 662MS Spinning Rod features a composite graphite blank for light weight and power, and an integrated solid tip for durability and sensitivity. Complementing this design are aluminium oxide guides that deliver superb tangle free performance and dissipate heat efficiently to eliminate line wear, plus a high-quality graphite seat to securely attach your reel. For comfort and durability the Eliminator also features flat top EVA grips, while the composite cork butt and attractive metal spacers bring style to the classy black and blue colour scheme.
