All-round performance for rock, surf and boat
An 8ft, two-piece general purpose outfit, the Shimano Hyperloop 6000 Revenger Pro General Purpose Combo incl Line 8ft 10kg 2pc teams the pre-spooled Hyperloop 6000 FB with a strong Okuma Revenger Pro rod. It's a go-to option for a wide range of fishing, and one you can lean on.
The Reel
The Shimano Hyperloop 6000 FB Spinning Reel is a good choice for a medium sized spin reel. The Hyperloop has a front drag, one ball bearing and a graphite body, making it perfect for light to medium fishing applications. It features a classic look and style that are backed up by high-tech features, namely the Super Stopper and Varispeed line lay. This reel is perfect for light rock, surf and boat fishing and will also work well if you are out to target Snapper or Kahawai.
The Rod
The Okuma Revenger Pro General Purpose Spinning Rod comes from the new Okuma rod factory and is a real "feather in the cap" for the RandD team that came up with a new process to make a super strong rod without the premium price tag. The process uses extremely strong 24 ton graphite combined with uni-directional glass to produce a rod that Okuma has not been able to break in testing.
