Lightweight and perfectly balanced
Built around balance, the Shimano Sienna 4000 Megalite Soft Bait Combo 7ft 6in 5kg pairs the Sienna 4000 FG with a one-piece Fin-Nor MegaLite soft bait rod. The rod's high-modulus graphite blank keeps the weight down, so this is an easy outfit to fish all day.
The Reel
The general purpose Shimano Sienna 4000 FG Spinning Reel is designed to cover all manner of light line situations, from bait fishing to soft plastic and hardbody lure casting. So if you're just starting out in fishing, or the kids are showing some interest that requires more than a basic handline, the Shimano Sienna 4000 FG Spinning Reel is perfect for you. Finished in a black and red cosmetic, this reel matches great with many of Shimano's fibreglass and graphite rods. Its AR-C spool lip design provides longer casting distances while preventing backlashes and wind knots, and Dyna Balance eliminates wobble during the retrieve for a smoother, more sensitive feel.
The Rod
The Fin-Nor MegaLite Soft Bait Rod is lightweight and perfectly balanced. It's constructed with a high-modulus graphite blank, Fuji Hardloy guides with concept spacing and a Fuji DPS reel seat. This rod is the perfect fit for inshore fishing.
