Power and control for offshore game fishing
The Shimano Tekota 800PG A Level Wind Triton Offshore Roller Tip Combo combines the Shimano Tekota 800PG A Level Wind overhead reel with a 5ft 6in one-piece Triton Offshore Roller Tip Game Rod rated for 24kg line. The Tekota 800PG offers a 3.9:1 gear ratio, 16kg maximum drag and 89cm retrieve per crank, while the Triton rod features a full E-Glass blank and powerful progressive action for heavy offshore fishing.
The one-piece rod features an ALPS roller tip and Shimano Channel Lock alloy butt, making the combo suited to offshore game fishing and other heavy saltwater applications.
The Reel
The Shimano Tekota 800PG A Level Wind Overhead Reel features a HAGANE Body for rigidity and impact resistance, while Cross Carbon Drag provides smooth drag performance across a wide range of settings. S A-RB bearings feature shields on both sides to help reduce the possibility of salt or sand affecting bearing rotation.
S-Compact Body reduces the sideplate size for a more comfortable hold, while CoreProtect uses water-repelling seals to help protect key internal components from water penetration.
The Rod
The Shimano Triton Offshore Roller Tip Game Rod features a full E-Glass blank with high hoop strength and a powerful progressive action for heavy offshore fishing. Seaguide guides and an ALPS roller tip provide reliable line control under heavy loads, while the Shimano Channel Lock alloy butt provides a secure connection for the reel.
The 5ft 6in one-piece rod is rated for 24kg line and is suited to offshore game fishing.
