A reliable levelwind boat combo
Ready for the boat, the Shimano TR 200G BFR Boat Fishing Combo 6ft 10in 10kg pairs Shimano's TR200G levelwind star drag with the 6ft 10in, one-piece BF-R boat rod rated 6-10kg. The levelwind keeps line lay neat, and the rod's sensitive tip shows the bites. Hard-working gear that keeps on going.
The Reel
The Shimano TR200G Levelwind Star Drag Reel is one of Shimano's hardest working reels. This corrosion-proof XT7 body, star drag reel has been a solid performer in the offshore fishing scene for many years. However, it has been given a new lease of life in recent times with the advent of braided lines, as it makes an excellent braid reel for inshore fishing. Even those with very little fishing experience can fish with confidence with the Shimano TR200G Levelwind Star Drag Reel. It's a perfect reel for various applications such as trolling, bait fishing over reefs, casting a lure and jig fishing. Anti-Rust Bearings are made of stainless steel that has gone through the A-RB process. These bearings are at least 10 times more corrosion-resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings. Easy maintenance no-shield design allows for easy flushing of debris and easy lubrication.
The Rod
The high-quality Shimano BF-R Overhead Boat Rod is designed for versatile performance on the water. At 6ft 10in with a 6-10kg line rating, this 1-piece rod offers the perfect balance of strength and sensitivity, whether you're targeting larger fish or casting lighter lures. Built with Shimano's trusted materials and craftsmanship, the durable construction ensures long-lasting performance, while the sensitive tip lets you feel even the subtlest bites.
