A refined baitcaster jig combo
For anglers who want a premium baitcaster, the Shimano Curado 200HG Catana Baitcaster Slow Jig Combo 20lb 6ft 6in pairs the Shimano Curado 23 200HG with the 6ft 6in, one-piece Catana micro jig rod. The 7.4:1 high-gear retrieve keeps jigs working fast, and the light 215g reel keeps the outfit balanced in the hand. Smooth, precise and a pleasure to use.
The Reel
Forged from over 30 years of Curado performance and durability, the Shimano Curado 23 200HG Baitcaster Reel inherits the latest Shimano reel technologies to provide enhanced castability with heavier lines and lures in any power fishing situation. Expanded line capacity comes without compromise as the Curado now leverages Shimano's MagnumLite (MGL) Spool III to reduce start-up inertia for unparalleled casting performance, especially when targeting trophies with large paddle-tail swimbaits, big jigs, deep-diving cranks, oversized frogs, Carolina rigs or umbrella rigs. The addition of SilentTune technology improves spool quietness during casts. SVS Infinity technology provides precision casting performance with easy-to-manage and consistent spool control and brake force adjustments when faced with demanding conditions or switching between baits.
The Rod
The Shimano Catana Overhead Micro Jig Rod is every bit as sharp as the sword it's named after. Featuring tough graphite blank, Hardloy guides, cork and EVA grips plus graphite reel seat to suit your fishing requirements. So fish with honour like a samurai. Get your Shimano Catana Overhead Micro Jig Rod today.
