Solid-blank slow jigging on a spin reel
Made for spin slow jigging, the Shimano Miravel 4000 XG Demon Blood Slow Jig Combo 6ft 20lb teams the CI4+ bodied Miravel 4000 XG with Daiwa's 6ft one-piece Demon Blood Solid, rated PE 2 for jigs from 50-150g. The solid carbon blank rebounds quickly to bring slow-fall jigs to life, and the parabolic bend keeps you in control under heavy drag. Precise, light and built to work the bottom.
The Reel
Building on the foundations of Nasci FC, the new Shimano Miravel 4000 XG Spinning Reel utilises a CI4+ body and sideplate for significant weight reductions. Cold-forged HAGANE Gear reel technology provides unparalleled gear durability. With premium performance at the forefront of design, Miravel features Silent Drive - the same technology found in Shimano's flagship Stella range. This technology translates into smoother operation due to finer gear tolerances, less vibration and improved longevity. Purpose-built for finesse fishing in both freshwater and inshore saltwater environments, Shimano Miravel 4000 XG Spinning Reel is backed by CoreProtect water repellent technology which increases durability and water resistance without creating a heavy winding feeling. Additionally, a screw in handle design has been adopted for added strength and convenience.
The Rod
The Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Slow Jig Rod is masterfully crafted around a 24-Ton solid carbon blank wrapped with 30-Ton graphite cloth to further reinforce the blank and create the desired action ideal for slow jigging. The solid carbon blank is responsive, rebounding quickly to gain maximum action out of slow fall-style jigs. Designed to be worked slow and methodically, it reacts and recovers to perfectly accompany precise reel control, assuring the angler that at the end of their line, their jig is performing exactly as intended. The solid and reliable Daiwa Demon Blood Solid Slow Jig Rod is outfitted with premium-quality components you can rely on when the battle heats up. The parabolic bend protects the angler, allowing comfort and control even under heavy drag settings.
