Level up your jigging game
The Shimano Torium Type J 1500HGA Grappler BB Type SJ Slow Jig Combo is the ultimate weapon for anglers looking to dominate the bite. This powerhouse pairing features the rock-solid HAGANE Body of the Torium 1500HGA, which eliminates flex to ensure every bit of your effort is translated into pure cranking power.
The Reel
Level up your jigging game with lightning-fast hooksets and unstoppable cranking power. The Shimano Torium Type J 1500HGA Jigging Reel is engineered to give you the upper hand when you’re hunting trophy fish. Built with a rock-solid HAGANE Body, this reel eliminates flex so you can put every ounce of effort into your cranking power, while the S-Compact design shrinks the side plate by 25% for a comfortable, ergonomic palm-fit that keeps you in total control during a long session on the water. It's also kitted out with X-Protect technology to shield your gears from saltwater spray, ensuring your gear stays smooth and reliable for seasons to come.
The Shimano Torium Type J 1500HGA Jigging Reel introduces two smart upgrades for better control and faster hooksets. The Spool Lock feature prevents the spool from rotating, allowing you to apply torque to free snags without risking internal damage to the reel. With a turn of the handle, the auto-engage clutch instantly engages the reel from free spool for those subtle strikes on the drop. It's that easy—just hook and haul.
The Rod
The Shimano Grappler BB Type SJ B664 OH Slow Jig Rod is part of a new powerful range of jigging rods, representing the next evolution of the highly popular Grappler series. This impressive rod now features a Hi-Power X blank construction to eliminate discomfort resulting from high torsional loads. It has been tested in the harshest offshore environments around the world, creating a rod that’s capable of grappling with the strongest of ocean predators. Make the Shimano Grappler BB Type SJ B664 OH Slow Jig Rod yours and gear up for more fishing adventures!
