Elite precision and raw power
The Shimano Twin Power XD FB 4000XGB Zodias Medium Heavy Spinning Combo is the perfect high-performance pairing for anglers who demand reliability and sensitivity in the harshest New Zealand conditions. By combining the legendary durability of the Twin Power XD with the incredibly responsive Zodias rod, you get a combo that excels whether you’re flicking soft baits from the rocks or working hard bodies in the wash.
The Reel
The Shimano Twin Power XD FB 4000XGB Spinning Reel is designed to blend sensitivity and power, offering anglers a significant advantage in challenging fishing conditions. Featuring a lightweight rotor, hybrid body construction, and a new X-Protect line roller for enhanced durability and water resistance. In addition to the massive Hagane Body, the addition of Infinity Cross and Infinity Drive improves gear durability and winding power. The new material of the drag washer Duracross provides overwhelming abrasion resistance and smooth and reliable drag performance. Moreover, Infinity Loop improves casting feel, new X-Protect reduces intrusion of foreign matter into the line roller, and anti-twist fin reduces line trouble were newly equipped to further evolve the comfort of use in tough environments.
The Rod
The Shimano Zodias Medium Heavy Spinning Rod is built for anglers who demand elite performance without the weight. Featuring advanced Hi-Power X blank construction, this rod offers incredible structural rigidity and twist resistance, ensuring you can punch out accurate casts even when the wind picks up. The standout Carbon Monocoque grip takes sensitivity to the next level, transmitting the slightest bump or subtle tap straight to your hand so you never miss a strike.
Weighing in at a feather-light 120g, this rod is designed to keep you comfortable during long sessions on the rocks or shore. Its perfectly balanced profile provides a nimble, effortless feel, while the Regular Fast action gives you the power transmission needed to control hard-fighting fish. Being a 2-piece design, it’s also easy to chuck in the car for your next adventure. Whether you’re flicking soft baits or hard bodies, the Shimano Zodias Medium Heavy Spinning Rod delivers the power and feel required to master the elements.
